If you're planning a trip to Northeast China, be sure to add Red Beach Scenic Area to your itinerary. This eco-wetland is a combination of natural beauty and cultural history. The area is home to a unique type of seaweed that turns the beach a vibrant red color in the fall, hence the name "Red Beach."
While you're in the area, make a stop at the Shenyang Imperial Palace. This palace was the royal residence of the Qing emperors Nurhachi and Huang Taiji. Visitors can explore the palace's many buildings, gardens, and courtyards, and learn about the history of the Qing dynasty.
Another must-see destination in Northeast China is Wangtian'e Scenic Area. This canyon is known for its unusual rock formations and cascading waterfalls. Visitors can hike along the canyon floor and take in the stunning scenery.
If you're a nature lover, don't miss the Mt. Changbai North Slope Scenic Area. This national nature reserve is home to beautiful lakes, hot springs, forests, and waterfalls. It's a great place to go hiking, camping, or just enjoy a relaxing day in nature.
For those interested in learning more about the culture of North Korea, make a stop at the Baihua Valley North Korea Ancient Village. Here, visitors can see traditional North Korean houses and learn about the folk culture of the people who live there.
Volga Manor is another interesting destination in Northeast China. This Russian-style manor features a St. Nicholas Church, a Pushkin Building, and even an ice glass vodka tasting experience.
Animal lovers won't want to miss the Siberian Tiger Park. This natural park is the largest reserve for wild Siberian tigers in China. Visitors can watch the tigers roam in their natural habitat and even feed them under the supervision of park staff.
Finally, no trip to Northeast China would be complete without sampling the local cuisine. Be sure to try specialties like roast duck, river crab, North Korean dishes, Dandong BBQ, hotpot, Russian cuisine, and of course, delicious dumplings.

沈阳 (169公里) - 盘锦
- Shenyang Imperial Palace (entrance included) ~ the largest palace in northeast China. It is the royal palace for the Qing emperors, Nurhachi and Huang Taiji. It has a combination of Han, Manchurian and Mongolian architecture features. (closed on every Monday)
- Manchu Street ~ located in front of the Shenyang Imperial Palace and most of the building is built by Qing Dynasty-style.
- 沈阳故宫 (含门票) ~ 中国东北最大的宫殿建筑，也是清太祖努尔哈赤，太宗皇帝皇太极两代皇帝的宫殿，融合了汉，满，蒙三族的民族特色，主要有大政殿，十三亭，崇政殿，后宫。(每逢周一闭关)
- 满清一条街 ~ 位于故宫门前的一条街，以清朝建筑风味而建，再加上古色古香故宫，走在这里可说是古味十足。
Day 3
Panjin (295km) - Dandong
盘锦 (295公里) - 丹东
- Red Beach Scenic Area (entrance included) ~ it is a large-scale eco wetland area which is located at Panjin City.
- Red Beach Corridor & Rice Dream Space (Rice Paddy Art only available on Sep-Oct) ~ the splendid red beach is the unique feature that has attracted thousands of photographers.
- 红海滩国家风景区 (含门票) ~ 属于湿地生态旅游景区，它以全球保存得完好、规模大的湿地资源为背景，以举世罕见的红海滩、世界最大的芦苇荡之一为依托，是自然环境与人文景观的结合。
- 红海滩廊道 & 稻梦空间 (稻田画只限于9-10月份) ~ 总长度约为18公里，是精彩的休闲廊道、烂漫的户外游憩海岸线，以湿地资源为依托，成为一处自然环境与人文景观完美结合的纯绿色生态旅游系统。
Day 4
Dandong (357km) - Baishan
丹东 (357公里) - 白山
- Yalu River Park (cruise ride included) ~ built along the river on the north side of the Yalu River Bridge, it is a unique combination of water and land. There are scenic spots such as Wangjiang Pavilion and four cruise ship docks in the park. Going down the river by boat, you can enjoy the scenery of the two countries. You also can overview the North Korea Sinuiju and broken bridge.
- 鸭绿江公园 (含船游) ~ 在鸭绿江大桥北侧临江而建，水陆一体，独具一格。公园内有望江亭等景点和四个游船码头。乘船顺流而下，游一江可赏两国风光。在这里，你可以远观朝鲜新义州和韩战断桥。
Day 5
Baishan (200km) - Mount Changbai
白山 (200公里) - 长白山
- Wangtian'e Scenic Area (entrance included) ~ the second highest peak in Northeast China, and the main peak of Changbai constitute the ridge of the Mount Changbai. The name of "Wangtian’e" comes from a volcano mountain that looks like a swan. In the scenic area, there are many landscapes such as rainbow waterfall, jiudie waterfall, book wall, yunu spring, jintong spring, lion rock, qinxian waterfall, pearl waterfall, mother child waterfall, shizhu cliff, thousand peak and others.
- 望天鹅景区 (含门票) ~ 中国东北第二高峰，与长白主峰构成了长白山山脉的峰脊。“望天鹅”这个名字源于这里的一座火山，望天鹅火山远看犹如一只昂首翘盼的天鹅，景区由此得名。景区内有彩虹瀑、九叠瀑、书墙、玉女泉、金童泉、雄狮岩、琴弦瀑、珍珠帘瀑布、母子瀑、石柱崖、千柱峰等众多景观。
Day 6
Mount Changbai (148km) - Dunhua
长白山 (148公里) - 敦化
- Mt. Changbai Scenic Area (entrance, shuttle coach & sightseeing coach included) ~ Mt. Changbai is named for its main peak, the White-head Mountain is covered with white rocks and thick snow. It is the highest hilly area in the Northeast of China.
- Mt. Changbai Heaven Pool ~ the pool is elliptic in shape. It is a crater lake formed when the volcano broke forth. After the volcano spat out enormous lavas, the crater became basin-shaped.
- Mt. Changbai Little Heaven Pool ~ they are two little pools; one is hidden in the forests, whose lake surface is in the shape of roundness and more than 10 meters deep with dark green water. Another pool only several meters deep, sometimes dries up and exposes the yellow mud at its bottom.
- Mt. Changbai Waterfall ~ when the water from the river flows 1250 meters far, it rushes down steeply and thus forms Changbai Waterfall as high as 68 meters.
- Hot Spring (1 complimentary hot spring egg for each person) ~ it is a kind of extreme hot spring, with most of the hot spring above 60ºC. The highest temperature at the mouth of the spring is up to 82ºC and an egg can be cooked as soon as it is put into the spring water.
- Baihua Valley North Korea Ancient Village ~ know more about the hundred years history and folk culture of the North Korea people.
- 长白山北坡风景区 (含门票、环保车 & 倒站车) ~ 长白山拥有“千年积雪万年松，直上人间第一峰”之称。北坡景区的长白山瀑布、聚龙温泉、谷底林海都是经典的地质奇观，还可乘坐越野车体验急速过弯道，然后在峻峭的主峰俯瞰天池美景。
- 长白山天池 ~ 它是一座休眠火山，火山口积水成湖，夏融池水湛蓝；冬冻冰面皓白，被16座山峰环绕，仅在天豁峰和观日峰间有一狭道池水溢出，飞泻成长白瀑布。它是中国最大的火山湖，也是世界海拔最高、积水最深的高山湖泊。
- 长白山小天池 ~ 小天池位于长白瀑布以北3公里处，共有两个，一个隐在幽静的岳桦林中，海拔1780米，湖面呈圆形，水深10余米，湖水碧绿。另外一个，大小相差无几，只是积水甚浅，仅几米深，有时干涸，露出黄色泥土。登高俯视，一个碧蓝，一个赤黄，好似一对金银杯，所以人们又称小天池为对杯湖，别具景色。
Day 7
Dunhua (420km) - Harbin
敦化 (420公里) - 哈尔宾
- Qiulingewasi Museum (entrance included) ~ a museum with the theme of displaying the history of the century-old Harbin and the century-old autumn forest.
- Volga Manor (entrance included) ~ a Russian-themed country park that full of exotic culture. At the same time, we will arrange to experience the ice glass vodka tasting in the castle.
- St. Nicholas Church ~ the replica building adopts the same pure wooden structure as the original building, and its shape is a snowflake tower that symbolizes Harbin's ice and snow culture.
- Pushkin Building ~ admire the beautiful red brick building that located in the forest.
- 秋林格瓦斯博物馆 (含门票) ~ 以展现百年哈尔滨及百年秋林历史为主题的博物馆。
- 伏尔加庄园 (含门票) ~ 一个以俄罗斯文化为主题的园林，处处洋溢着异域风情。同时，我们会安排体验城堡冰杯品尝伏特加白酒。
- 圣·尼古拉大教堂 ~ 复制建筑采用了同原建筑一样的纯木制结构，形状为象征着哈尔滨冰雪文化的雪花塔。
- 普希金沙龙建筑 ~ 沙龙红砖建筑掩映在高大的杨树林中，有着一种浪漫中的沉静之美。

- Harbin Music Corridor ~ admire the flower seas in different seasons. (subject to seasonality)
- Sophia Cathedral Square ~ one of the most magnificent structures in Harbin. Admire for its huge green tipped dome and beautifully decorated interior.
- Stalin Park ~ this is a Russian style park where you can see some art statues with Russian classical style buildings too.
- Flood Control Monument ~ hich honors Harbin’s triumph over the massive floods of 1957 and 1988.
- Central Street ~ a pedestrian-only street lined with stores, malls, restaurants and old Russian architecture.
- Siberian Tiger Park (entrance & shuttle coach included) ~ the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers in the world. Beside Siberian tigers, you can also see white tigers, lions, liger, leopards, wolves, and others.
- 哈尔滨音乐长廊 ~ 欣赏不同季节的花海。 (视季节情况而定)
- 圣索菲亚教堂广场 ~ 远东地区最大的东正教教堂，外观宏伟、造型典雅，是典型的拜占庭式建筑。
- 斯大林公园 ~ 这是一处充满俄罗斯风情的景观带，可见到一些艺术雕像和仿俄罗斯古典式风格的建筑。
- 防洪纪念碑 ~ 它象征着哈尔滨精神，塔底上部下有一个刻着1998年洪水高度的标示板，时时提醒着市民不要忘记抗洪的重要。
- 中央大街 ~ 综合各式商店、购物广场、餐馆和俄罗斯古典建筑的步行街。
- 东北虎林园 (含门票 & 观光车) ~ 世界规模最大的东北虎繁育基地，这里除了有东北虎之外，还有白虎、狮子、狮虎兽、美洲豹、狼等等。
