Terms & Conditions

The purchase of any travel services offered by Parlo Tours Sdn Bhd (“The Company”) constitutes a
contractual arrangement between you (also referred to in the following terms & conditions as “tour member”)
and The Company, and represents your acceptance of The Company’s Terms & Conditions as set out
herein.
Please ensure that you carefully read and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking. You
represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept The Company’s Terms & Conditions on behalf of
everyone named in your booking and that you will be deemed to have accepted The Company’s Terms &
Conditions on behalf of everyone named in your booking.
Contract [New]
We draw your attention to the Terms and Conditions of travel below. Before making a booking with us, you
must ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Please be aware that these
Terms and Conditions contain waivers of liability as well as waiver of class action and venue selection and
notice clauses. By asking us to confirm your booking you have acknowledged and are accepting all the
Terms and Conditions stated below. If you are making a booking as a group, the leader of the group (the
name appearing as “bill to” in our invoice shall be considered to be the group leader) is responsible for
sharing these Terms and Conditions with all members of the group and is financially responsible for the
booking. We will not be liable for a group leader’s failure to share these Terms and Conditions with all
travelers in their group.
You represent and warrant that:
(a) you are deemed authorized to act on behalf of those you represent and accept these terms and
conditions on their behalf and
(b) the information supplied by you or members of your group is accurate.
Violations By You [New]
You agree that any violation of any such Terms and Conditions may result in:
(a) the cancellation of your booking or purchase
(b) forfeiture of monies paid (in part of in full) for your booking or purchase and
(c) being denied access to the applicable travel related product or service.
Changes To These Terms & Conditions [New]
The Company reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to change these Terms and Conditions at any time
without prior approval or notification. Any amended or additional Terms and Conditions will apply to your
booking. Your continued use of our services including continuing to use or maintain any booking after any
changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes your consent to the changes.
COVID-19 Release of Liability [New]
By booking travel at this time, you acknowledge you and any dependents traveling with you may be exposed
to the highly contagious COVID-19 virus. Such exposure may result in personal injury, illness, permanent
disability and death. You acknowledge that exposure to any viruses or disease is an inherent risk of traveling
that cannot be controlled or eliminated by The Company.
You acknowledge that due to the uncertainty of travel at this time, your trip may be postponed or cancelled or
amendments to itineraries due to closures of certain sites or activities for which there’ll be no refund. You
may also be required to quarantine upon arrival in certain locations. Some locations may require you to have
proof of vaccination or proof of testing result. Stopover countries' requirements may also apply the same. On
your return journey, additional testing, requirements, or documentation may be required. You are responsible
for understanding these requirements and the information provided is the best of the company’s knowledge
at the time of publication. Given the rapid evolving nature of Covid-19 outbreak, The Company cannot
guarantee its accuracy and we will not be held liable for any errors or emissions. You understand that you
may become sick before, during or after your trip and may not be able to travel and such cancellation or
interruption will be subject to the cancellation terms below for which The Company will not be liable. You
agree that due to uncertainty caused by COVID 19, The Company has strongly encouraged the purchase of
travel insurance and that should you fail to purchase any travel insurance, The Company shall not be liable
to any losses howsoever arising. Traveler assumes the risk that travel protection may not cover COVID 19
related claims. Yourself and any dependents traveling with you, and on behalf of you and their heirs,
assigns, personal representatives and next of kin (The Releasors), hereby release, and hold harmless The
Company of/ from, and against any claims, damages, demands, losses, and liabilities arising out of or related
in any way, in whole or in part to any postponement, cancellation, changes, injury, disability, death or any
other losses you may suffer due to exposure, infection, spread, closure, and travel restrictions related to
COVID- 19, whether arising from the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted
by law. This clause shall survive any termination or cancellation of this Contract, whether by operation of law
or otherwise.
Tour Price Includes
Your tour price includes scheduled return economy class flight air ticket, excluding taxes, which is non-
refundable and non-negotiable. Accommodation and meals as specified in the tour brochure / itineraries.
Tour price Excludes
Airport taxes, fuel surcharges, tipping and visa fees do not form part of the tour fare and it should be borne
by the passenger. The Company is only acting as an agency to collect the above charges therefore it is
subject to the Terms and Conditions of the respective authorities & airlines.
Accommodation
Accommodation is based on half twin- sharing basis for adults. Child fare is based on any seat in flight and
tour vehicles. Child aged 2 and above but below 12 years as third person in twin or double room of two
adults without any extra bed. If a child occupies a half-twin, full tour fare applies. Tour fare for infants below 2
years old is based on 10% of adult published fare and does not occupy any seat in flight and tour vehicles.
Triple room configuration will either be 2 twin / 1 double bed + 1 rollaway bed, room size will be the same as
the twin share room. Except USA & Canada, hotels will only provide with two double beds even for triple
sharing.
Extension / Deviation
Extension of stay is subject to airline ticket restriction, terms & conditions and applicable surcharges. Please
consult your travel consultant.
Deposit / Tour Payments
Should there be no ad-hoc special promotion, all deposit must be paid upon reservation. If full payment is not
received 30 days or more prior to departure date, the Company reserves the right to forfeit the deposit and
cancel the reservation.

Single Supplement
The single tour price must be paid when a person is traveling alone, by choice or circumstances. If you wish
to occupy a single room, you are required to pay a single-supplement amount.
Cancellation & Cancellation Fees
Cancellation due to personal reason [updated]
45 days before the date of departure - forfeiture of deposit paid
30 to 45 days - forfeiture of 50% of tour fare or deposit paid (whichever is higher)
15 to 29 days - forfeiture of 75% of tour fare or deposit paid (whichever is higher)
Less than15 days - forfeiture of 100% of tour fare or deposit paid (whichever is higher)
Cancellation Due to illness [new]
In the event any Tour Member has contracted an illness which cause the individual unfit to travel or tested
positive for COVID-19, 3 months before the departure date, the deposit paid by the said individual and
his/her direct family members will be fully refunded.
In the event any Tour Member have contracted an illness which cause the individual unfit to travel or tested
positive for COVID-19, 45 days prior to departure date, all payment made by the said individual and his/her
direct family member will be forfeited according to the abovementioned cancellation fees.
Amendment fee [updated]
Amendment fee is applicable to all booking which are confirmed and deposit paid.
All amendments will need to be made 45 days before departure date.
Amendment fee of (min RM300) will be charged and may vary depending on the changes.
Any subsequent cost increases and surcharges will be borne by the tour member.
Force Majeure [new]
The Company assumes no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation resulting in any force majeure
condition, including, without limitation: fire, volcanic eruption, hurricane, sargassum, environmental pollution
or contamination, inclement weather, earthquake, low or high water levels, flood, water or power shortages
or failures, tropical storms or hurricanes, riots or civil commissions or disturbances, and any other acts of a
similar nature, sabotage, arrests, strikes or labor disruptions, restraint of rulers or peoples, expropriations,
acts of terrorism, war, insurrection, quarantine restrictions, government health advisories, epidemics,
pandemics, or warnings or alerts of any kind of nature, government seizures, refusal or cancellation or
suspension or delay of any government authority or any license, permit or authorization, damages to its
facilities or the travel supplier and its facilities, or any other unforeseen circumstances or any other factors
unforeseen by The Company that impacts negatively on, or hampers, its ability to fulfill any of its contractual
conditions. In the circumstances amounting to force majeure, we will not be required to refund any money to
you, although if we can recover any monies from our suppliers, we will refund these to you without any
charge by The Company.
Flight timing and schedules
Flight timing and schedules are not guaranteed and do not form part of the contract. They are subject to
change at the insistence of the Aviation of Government Authorities for the Tour Member’s safety, security
and other reasons. Neither The Company nor the Carrier concerned will accept liability for reasons of flight
cancellations, delays or diversions that is not within its control.
Minimum Tour Group Size [updated]
The Company reserves the right to cancel or withdraw at any time bookings made by or on behalf of Tour
Members prior to departure. However, the company will reserve the absolute right to vary the group size due
to unforeseen circumstances. The decision of The Company shall be final and inclusive and no liabilities
whatsoever shall be incurred by the Company for such cancellation. All amount paid toward booking fees
(except visa & health screening fee) shall be refunded
Passport Validity
It is the Tour Member’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport with at least 6
months validity from the date of departure.
Visa Application
All Tour Members are encouraged to process their own visa. Assistance is offered by the Company
but approval cannot be guaranteed. The Company cannot be held liable for any loss of passport
due to any reason whatsoever including without limitations, negligence on the part of our
employees, agents and servants.
Travel Insurance [updated]
Travel insurance/ any travel protection plan is strongly recommended to all tour members in order to protect
your investment. It can be helpful should issues arise during your tour i.e., lost luggage, delayed or canceled
flights, hotel issues, medical emergencies, etc. The Company will assist our insurance supplier to answer
simple and mandatory questions about the benefits or any exclusions and conditions of travel protection
plans if tour members purchased the travel Insurance with The Company. Tour member can choose to
purchase their own travel protection plan separately. Declining to purchase an adequate travel protection
plan could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to rectify the situation. You also
acknowledge that without this coverage, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses
incurred. If you choose to travel without adequate coverage, The Company will not be liable for any of your
losses howsoever arising, for which trip protection plan coverage would otherwise have been available.
Company’s Rights and Responsibilities
The Company and or its associated agents act only as agent for the transportation companies,
hotel contractors and other principles. Tickets, vouchers and documents are issued subject to
those terms and conditions.
Risk
Every person participating in any tour or holiday packages offered by The Company and /or its
associated agents shall be at his / her own risk. The Company and / or its associated agents shall
not be held liable to any person as a result of the following:
A. Inaccuracy, misdescription or changes to any tour and its itinerary;
B. Additional expenses due to delays or changes in any transport services, sickness, weather,
strikes, war, quarantine or other causes;
C. Extension of stay-flight arrangements that cannot be confirmed;
D. Any damage or loss of baggage or other personal effects or accidents, it is the
responsibility of the Tour Members to claim insurance;
E. Deportation or refusal of entry of Tour Members by Immigration Authorities due to
possession of unlawful items or holding improper travel documents or any other causes
which are considered as subversive by the local and foreign government concerned.
Difficult and uncooperative Tour Members [updated]
The Tour Manager is authorized to remove any of the Tour Members who are uncooperative in
adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the destination country or
detrimental to the safety of other Tour Members from the same tour and the Tour Manager’s
decision in this aspect is final. The Company will not refund any uncompleted part of the tour as a
result of the said action.
Pre-existing Medical Conditions/Persons with Limited Mobility [New]
The road conditions for some of the destinations we travel to may be challenging for passengers
with limited mobility. It is essential that you advise us prior to placing any bookings should you
require such attention as this may affect the tour program. We can further assist you in considering
the suitability of the arrangements and/or in making the booking. The Company will also assist to
communicate your requests to our ground operators, and cannot be held responsible if any
suitable accommodations or alternative solutions are not available. Any special arrangement for
accommodations provided will be at the sole expense of the traveler requiring the said
arrangement. However, if our ground operators are unable to offer additional assistance or special
arrangement to travelers with limited mobility, all such assistance will need to be provided by
whoever the traveler is traveling with. Travelers with limited mobility must notify The Company at
the time of booking of status and of the identity of their travel companion who will be responsible
for providing all necessary assistance should the needs arises. We may request that you provide a
letter from your doctor confirming your fitness to travel. The Company’s tour package and
personnel are NOT required to cater and / or provide for the needs and or requirements for limited
mobility individuals (including and not limited to individuals with sight, speech and hearing needs)
and for the needs and or requirements of individuals suffering from any medical conditions.
Transfer service [updated]
For group tours and packages, passengers who are extending/deviating are entitled to the
scheduled transfer service of the said group departure flights on the last day of the tour, however
such requests for these arrangements must be made known to the company 2 weeks before the
tour departs. Separate transfers can be arranged at additional costs to be borne the passenger.
Transfer given is not refundable and no changes can be made after tour departs. Only passengers
who purchase FULL TOUR will be given airport/hotel/airport transfers and NOT passengers who
only purchase GROUND ARRANGEMENT. Any cost incurred for transfer service due to customer
own negligence, need to be absorbed by the customer themselves.
Amendment to Tour itinerary by the Company
Information in the brochure/flyer is accurate to the best knowledge of The Company’s at the time of
print. The Company makes reasonable efforts to avoid changes in the itinerary. However, the
Company reserves the right to make minor changes at any time due to unforeseen circumstances,
especially during peak periods or in the event of a force majeure. The Company cannot guarantee
that any item or amenity mentioned will always be available, especially where the Company has no
direct control over it. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and the
Chinese translation of the information, the English version shall prevail.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution [updated]
Notwithstanding the place or country in which a course of action arises, it is expressly agreed that
the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia in respect of
any matter arising out of or in connection with the Terms & Condition.
Entire Agreement & Severability [new]
This agreement, including the terms of our suppliers and any other documents, including invoices, we
provide you, constitutes the entire agreement and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous
communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, with respect to The Company. If any
provision of these Terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be
deemed severable from all other Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining
provisions.
