Shirakawa-go Village is a beautiful and historically rich region located in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The UNESCO has recognized its cultural value and designated it as a World Heritage Site. The village is known for its unique Gassho-style houses, which are built with a steeply slanting thatched roof that resembles two hands joined together in prayer. These houses are not only beautiful but also practical, as they are built to withstand the region's heavy snowfall.
One of the most prominent Gassho-style houses in Shirakawa-go is the Wada House. The Wada family was one of the wealthiest families in the region from the 17th to the 19th century. They worked closely with the local government, dealing with gunpowder and silk and other related businesses. Today, the Wada House is open to the public as a museum, allowing visitors to get a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of the region's affluent families during that era.
Apart from the rich cultural and historical significance of the region, Shirakawa-go is also home to a wide range of unique and exciting experiences. For instance, visitors can participate in a Gujo Hachiman handcraft experience where they can try their hand at creating food models out of plastic wax. This is a fun and creative way to immerse oneself in the local culture.
Another exciting experience that awaits visitors in Shirakawa-go is the Mishima Skywalk. This is Japan's longest promenade suspension bridge, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Visitors can take in the beauty of the lush greenery and the crystal-clear waters of the river below.
For those who love scenic views, taking a cable car ride to enjoy a panoramic view of Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi is a must-do. This thrilling experience allows visitors to see the famous mountain and the stunning lake from a unique perspective.
Finally, no trip to Japan would be complete without indulging in some shopping. Shirakawa-go has a wide range of shopping options, including Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, Nishiki Market, Nakamies Shopping Street, Ginza, and Premium Outlet. These shopping streets offer a range of items, from traditional Japanese souvenirs to high-end luxury goods.

- Osaka Castle Park ~ located in the centre of Osaka. It is also, an urban oasis surrounded by green forest and boasts the seasonally changing plum grove, people come here for relax and take photos.
- Shinsaibashi Shopping Street ~ the most authentic shopping paradise in Osaka, daily attracts thousands of people.
- Dotonbori ~ an explosion of neon and entertainment awaits at Osaka’s Times Square. Posing under the famous Glico man, sign take a photo.
- Fushimi Inari Taisha ~ popular temples in Kyoto walk through the Senbon Torii (thousand gates) promenade of the red shrine. There is a promenade leading to 233 meters high Mount Inari.
- Nishiki Market ~ is a super wide shopping street area manage for many green fruit shops, fresh fish shops and dried goods. By your own expenses for local cuisine.
- 大阪城公园 ~ 位于大阪市中心的城市公园。它是被绿色森林环绕的城市绿洲，拥有随季节而变化的梅林，当地居民都会来这里放松和拍照。

Nagahama (123km) - Gujo Hachiman (82km) - Takayama

- Food Model (DIY included) ~ hands-on experience making your own models. Models can be said to be unique to Japanese culture and craftsmanship and many are still handmade, they are generally made of resin and plastic and can be seen in all kinds of restaurants.
- Shirakawa-go Village (entrance included) ~ now still preserves the ancient Japanese residential gassho - style architecture. At a glance, you can see dozens of ancient Japanese-styles houses with brown thatched roofs.
- Wada House (entrance included) ~ the largest building in Gassho Village, is the only gassho built house in Shirakawa Township that can visited inside.
- 食品模型 (含DIY) ~ 体验亲自动手制作模型。模型是日本独有的文化和工艺，许多模型至今仍使用手工制，一般以树脂、塑料制成，在餐饮店铺都可以看到。
- 白川乡 (含门票) ~ 至今仍保存着日本古代住宅合掌造建筑，一眼望去便能看到数十栋茶色茅草屋顶的日式古风住宅。
- 和田家 (含门票) ~ 合掌村内最大建筑，唯一一所可以入内参观的合掌造房。

Takayama (86km) - Matsumoto (117km) - Yamanashi

- Miyagawa Morning Market ~ is one of the three largest morning markets in Japan. Still has a trading centre for fresh produce.
- Takayama Ancient Street ~ walk in the old street, the street scene of the Edo period is completely preserved, and at here every house is made by wooden house.
- Takayama Matsuri Museum ~ a museum that exhibits items and replicas used in Takayama Matsuri. In the main exhibition hall, in addition to miniature versions of festival floats, there are life-size floats and a giant drum that is said to be the largest in the world.
- Ishii Miso ~ one of Nagano's oldest and best miso breweries, miso is Japanese staple. The dedicated staff has guided tour and explain the brewing process.
- Oishi Park ~ a park facing the shore of Lake Kawaguchi with a great view of Mount Fuji.
- 宫川早市 ~ 是日本三大早市之一。至今依然是新鲜农产品的买卖中心。
- 高山古街 ~ 在古香古色的老街散步，这里完整的保存着江户时代的街景，家家户户都是木质房屋。
- 高山祭之森花车博物馆 ~ 展示高山祭时使用的物品和复制品的博物馆。在主展厅内，除了有祭典用花车的微缩版外，还有与实物大小相同的花车，以及据说是世界上最大的巨型太鼓。

- Lake Ashi ~ the symbol of Hakone, is also a popular spot for viewing Mount Fuji, taking photos and walking around the lake
- Mishima Skywalk ~ Japan's longest promenade suspension bridge.
- Owakudani (one-way ropeway included) ~ close up to view the spectacular activated volcano, is the most representative landscape in Hakone. (Subject to weather and geographical conditions)
- Shinjuku Kabuki Cho (pass by) ~ is the largest red-light district in Japan.
- 芦之湖畔 ~ 箱根的象征，也是眺望富士山的热门地点，在湖畔照相和散步。
- 三岛天空走廊 ~ 日本最长步道吊桥。
- 大涌谷地狱 (含单程缆车登上) ~ 近距离观看壮观的火山，是箱根最具有代表性的景观。(依天气和地理而定)
- 新宿歌舞伎町 (途径) ~ 日本最大的红灯区。

- Sensoji Temple ~ is the oldest temple in Tokyo, the bodhisattva of mercy statue was enshrined here. therefore, it has become a tourist attraction in Japan.
- Nakamies Shopping Street ~ is located between the Kaminarimon and the main hall of Sensoji Temple, it is one of the oldest commercial streets in Japan. You can view Tokyo Skytree here.
- Ginza ~ enjoy luxury shopping and enjoy local cuisine by your own expense.
- Premium Outlets ~ enjoy shopping fun.
- 浅草寺 ~ 东京最古老的寺庙，这里供奉着观音菩萨的雕像，因此成为了是日本旅游的必访打卡景点。
- 仲见世通商街 ~ 位于浅草寺的雷门和正殿之间，是日本最古老的商业街之一，在此可远眺东京晴空树。
