One of the highlights of any trip to Guizhou is a visit to the Dongchuan Red Land, known for its stunning sunrise and sunset views. The vibrant red soil and green crops create a breathtaking landscape that you won't soon forget.
Another stop on your tour should be the Yunfeng Tunbao, a cultural village listed in the Guinness World Records. This village is home to a unique community of Tunpu people who have preserved their traditional way of life, including their architecture, cuisine, and customs.

Kunming (160km) – Dongchuan
昆明 (160公里) – 东川
- Dongchuan Red Land ~ the Red Soil here spans hundreds of miles, which is the most typical, lumped and featured red land in Yunnan. It is the best place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset view.
- Luoxiagou ~ as a low land encircled by hills, it stands out as the quintessential part of this area. Vivid and rich colors with the most subtle shades abound here, when coupled with the changing light, a mirage is created.
- 东川红土地 ~ 位于昆明市东北，因土壤里含铁、铝成分较多，就形成了炫目的赤红色彩。观赏日出日落的最佳景点之一。
- 落霞沟 ~ 这是在崇山环抱中突然下陷的一块洼地，斑斓的色彩随即扑面而来，让人瞬间忘记了呼吸，又让人不得不感叹劳动人民的伟大。
Day 3
Dongchuan (160km) – Kunming (2 hours) – Anshun
东川 (160公里) – 昆明 (2小时) – 安顺
- Continue visiting Dongchuan Red Land.
- Damakan Village ~ a large spread of red land in the arms of continuous mountains at the skyline. Standing on the highway, you can overlook the red land.
- Old Dragon Tree ~ it is a huge millennium pine, had died three years and spit new branches, was revered as a local monument stone tree.
- Jinxiuyuan ~ it is a large concave ground. A sightseeing road with wide vision is built along the mountainside. It is featured by the rolling hills sight and delicate landscape.
- Yuepuao ~ the scenery in here is mainly made of colored fields, village and small forests. There is a beauty in the lines of the fields, just like the musical staff.
- Board on the high-speed train from Kunming to Anshun.
- 继续游览东川红土地。
- 打马坎 ~ 一座村庄，早晨日出前后在公路边的高坡上俯瞰打马坎村，红土围绕的村子里炊烟缭绕，村子四周的杨树在朝阳斜射下泛着光辉，是一派宁静动人的田园风光。
- 老龙树 ~ 又名神树、它是一棵巨大古老的千年冷杉，曾经枯死三年又吐新枝，被当地立石碑尊为神树。
- 锦绣园 ~ 走进锦绣园，红、黄、蓝、绿等色彩尽收眼底，仿佛走进了花的海洋，走进了色彩斑斓的世界。
- 乐普凹 ~ 东川的另一座村庄，村里的田地高低起伏，错落有致。乐谱凹的色彩线条很美，像五线谱，视野里有近一半是树林和村庄。
- 乘搭高铁从昆明到安顺。
Day 4
Anshun (50km) – Huangguoshu
安顺 (50公里) – 黄果树
- Yunfeng Tunbao (entrance & buggy included) ~ there are over 40 well-preserved Tunpu Village in the Ming Dynasty, forming the village of Tunpu Culture Village and being listed as the largest Guinness World.
- Shenlong Cave (entrance included) ~ it is the most typical, peculiar and most endemic cave in the country and the only one open to visitors in Huangguoshu Scenic Area.
- Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area (entrance, public coach & escalator included) ~ it is one of the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia located on Baishui river.
- Shuiliandong ~ it also known as Water-Curtain, and 134m long naturally formed cave located in the back of the waterfall.
- 云峰屯堡 (含门票 & 电瓶车) ~ 这里密布着保存完好的明代屯堡村寨40余个，构成屯堡文化村落群而被列为大世界吉尼斯之最。
- 神龙洞景区 (含门票) ~ 因为特殊的地理环境造就了世界级且独特的喀斯特地貌景观，孕育了多样的民族特色，让多彩贵州这片神秘的土地成为特色文化和旅游资源最丰富的地区。
- 黄果树大瀑布风景区 (含门票、环保车 & 电扶梯) ~ 被世界吉尼斯总部评为世界上最大的瀑布群，列入世界吉尼斯记录。它是中国第一批国家重点风景名胜区和首批获得国家评定的 5A 级风景名胜区之一。
- 水帘洞 ~ 像横卧在大瀑布背后的一条长龙，可从前、后、左、右、上、下六个方向观赏大瀑布；还可以从瀑布背后伸手触摸飞泻的瀑流，此为天下一绝。在水帘洞中透过飞瀑，从一个独特的视角观看周边奇特的景色。
Day 5
Huangguoshu (220km) – Xingyi
黄果树 (220公里) – 兴义
- Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area (entrance & public coach included) ~ it is 7km away from downstream of the Huangguoshu waterfall. Landscapes here display a stunning diversity of mountains, woods, falls, lakes, rivers and caves.
- Steep Slope Pond Waterfall ~ water cascades along the gentle waterfall, evenly spread, dancing lightly on a scale of the travertine beach, such as a thin, translucent veil, but also as a side of the open plain silk Fan, glowing silver in the sun.
- 天星桥景区 (含门票 & 环保车) ~ 这里主要观赏石、树、水的美妙结合，由水上石林变化而成的天然盆景区。每一块石头都刻有366天的日期。
- 陡坡塘瀑布 ~ 瀑布水层沿着和缓的瀑面，均匀地撒开，在一鳞鳞的钙华滩面上轻盈地舞着，如一层薄薄的、半透明的面纱，又如一面面张开的素绢扇面，在阳光下泛着银光，故有人戏称为“新娘面纱”。
Day 6
Xingyi
兴义
- Wanfeng Lake (cruise ticket included) ~ it is actually is a reservoir which was formed from the foundation of Tiansheng Bridge High Dam Power Station.
- Western Peak Forest (entrance & buggy included) ~ one sees a Karst formation on the highland, in the basin there stands countless gorgeous peaks. Among the imposing green peaks in the basin are small piece of rice paddies, running springs and rural villas, which is really like a Chinese brush painting.
- Bagua Tian ~ it is a naturally formed gossypium field lying in the middle of the farmland. Its shape is magical and blurred.
- Guizhou Ethnic Marriage Museum ~ the exhibition hall consists of flirting media, love letters, wedding supplies, wedding dress, bridal facility, and maternity appliances.
- 万峰湖 (含船游) ~ 因为周围万峰环绕，故而得名。这里是国家重点水电工程-天生桥高坝电站建成蓄水后形成的人工湖，烟波浩淼，湖光潋滟，湖内上千座山峰构成上千个全岛或半岛，景色迷人。
- 西峰林 (含门票 & 电瓶车) ~ 贵州锥状岩溶的典型代表。景区内主要有岩溶峰林地貌景观和岩溶负向地形中的岩溶漏斗、落水洞等地貌景观。
- 八卦田 ~ 一片天然形成的八卦田，平卧在纳灰寨农田中央，其造型神奇迷离，如神匠打造，层叠有序。八卦田中有三个天然地漏，深不见底，被称为地眼-大地的眼睛。
- 贵州民族婚俗博物馆 ~ 馆内有传情媒介、恋爱信物、婚礼用品、新婚盛装、洞房设施、生育用具等方面的展览品和讲解。
Day 7
Xingyi (120km) – Panzhou (1 hour) – Kunming
兴义 (120公里) – 盘县 (1 小时) – 昆明
- Maling River Canyon (entrance & sightseeing lift included) ~ it stretches for 15 kilometers and the river is often veiled in the mist from dozens of waterfalls.
- TianXing Gallery ~ heavenly star gallery which is about 2km long with an average depth of 200 meters, lot of cascades make the grand canyon a stunning picture.
- Maling Wonder Stone Museum ~ in the museum has variety type of sources for wonder stones.
- Board on the high-speed train from Panzhou to Kunming.
- 马岭河峡谷 (含门票 & 观光电梯) ~ 长约15公里，两岸峭崖对峙，河谷幽深，以雄、奇、险、秀而独具特色。峡内的瀑布非常多，上百条形态各异的瀑布构成了闻名遐迩的马岭河瀑布群。
- 天星画廊 ~ 峡谷景区精华核心部分。它以规模宏大的瀑布群和岩页壁挂形成主要景观特色，堪称一绝。从马岭古桥到天星桥 9.7 公里段有 56 条瀑布，终年长泻 36 条。
- 马岭河峡谷奇石馆 ~ 馆内奇石资源丰富，奇石品种繁多让人大饱眼福。
- 乘搭高铁从盘县到昆明。
Day 8
Kunming – Kuala Lumpur
昆明 – 吉隆坡
- Eastern and Western Pagodas ~ a photo stop to view the oldest buildings in Kunming city.
- Jinri Tower ~ originally built in the Yuan Dynasty is dubbed as "The Tower near the Sun" in the past.
- Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Memorial Arches ~ a distinctive ethnic characteristic and the symbol of Kunming.
- 东西寺塔 ~ 在云南创建最早的古塔之一拍照打卡。
- 近日楼 ~ 始建于元代的近日楼雄奇瑰丽，被老昆明人誉为“接近太阳的高楼”。
- 金马碧鸡坊 ~ 始建于明宣德年间，历史上曾有“金碧交辉”之说。高12米，宽18米，具有民俗特色，雕粱画栋，精美绝伦。
