DAY 1
ARRIVE AUCKLAND

On arrival you will be met and privately transferred to your accommodation. Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, located between two harbours with gentle sandy shores on the east coast and black sand, wild surf beaches on the west coast. Home to sheltered, sparkling blue waters dotted with beautiful emerald islands, we recommend getting out on the water when you are here.

Standing prominently in Auckland City, the iconic Sky Tower provides a great introduction to the city with panoramic 360 degree views up to 80km in every direction. (2) AUCKLAND HARBOUR SAILING
Departing from Auckland downtown’s Viaduct Harbour, enjoy the unique Auckland landscape from the water on a 1.5 hour relaxed harbour sailing experience. Take in Auckland’s city highlights; sail under the Harbour Bridge, see volcanic peaks and the iconic city skyline from the best view in town. Sit back and relax or get involved and help the friendly, knowledgeable crew sail the 50 foot yacht. Includes tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a cookie.
(3) AUCKLAND HARBOUR DINNER CRUISE
Departing from Auckland downtown’s Viaduct Harbour, immerse yourself in Auckland’s harbour setting with dinner on the water. Enjoy canapes and a welcome drink as you depart dock while your friendly knowledgeable crew talks through Auckland’s unique history as you sail past iconic landmarks. There is plenty of opportunity to participate in sailing or just sit back and enjoy the sights. Dinner is served above deck or in the well-appointed cabin below. Depart Auckland on a fully guided journey through the stunning Waikato countryside to Waitomo Caves. Here your guide will lead you on an exploration of the ancient Waitomo Glowworm Caves, with its many different cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites and lime columns, before descending even further underground for a cruise on the grotto river with thousands of glowworms glittering above your head. Your journey then continues on to the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua. Overnight: Rotorua

More than 30 million years ago, the legend of Waitomo began with the creation of limestone at the bottom of the ocean. Walk past stunning, delicate cave formations before taking a boat ride through the glow worm grotto. Glide silently through the starry wonderland of Arachnocampa Luminosa, thousands of magical glowworms, unique to New Zealand.

Today's tour visits the highlights of Rotorua starting with a visit to Rotorua Lakefront and Sulphur Point before a stroll through the beautiful Government Gardens. Wander through geothermal Kuirau Park, to view the bubbling mud pools and have a foot soak in the heated foot pools. Take a walk through the Redwood Forest at your own leisure before being returned to your accommodation. Overnight: Rotorua

Enjoy a mouth-watering buffet designed with local sourced cuisine and an authentic Maori twist overlooking the valley’s geothermal vista with sweeping views of the geyser, followed by a 40 minute cultural performance in the beautifully carved meeting house with traditional welcome (powhiri), song (waiata), poi and haka.
